Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahu Wa Barakatuhu.
As we are about to reach the last 10 days of Ramadan, we praise and thank Allah swt for allowing us to experience this blessed month. We also pray that He accepts our fasting, forgive all our shortcomings and help us increase in taqwa.
We would like to remind you that Zakat ul Fitr is $20 per person and that it needs to be paid well before the end of Ramadan. You are welcome to drop your Zakat ul Fitr payment in the donation boxes at our local mosque or pay it online from MANAL website.
Please kindly note the following updates about the last 10 days of Ramadan and upcoming Eid arrangements:
To minimize public health risks under ongoing pandemic, there will be no congregational Qiyam Al Layl at Masjid Al Noor. We advise everyone to please perform it at their homes with members of their own households. Only one or two of our imams will be allowed to perform it in person at the mosque and this will be live streamed from MANAL website for your convenience.
The first day of Eid Al Fitr will insha'Allah be on Thursday, May 13.
MANAL will insha'Allah organize 3 consecutive sessions of Eid prayers at Masjid Al Noor. The first 2 sessions will be for brothers only; and the last session will be for both sisters and brothers.
The maximum capacity for each session will be as per public health regulations.
Admission to the mosque for Eid prayers will be subject to online pre-registration.
Only those who are older than 12 years of age and fulfill health & travel related criteria will be eligible to pre-register and attend the Eid prayers.
Online registration links, times and rules for Eid prayers will insha'Allah be e-mailed and posted at MANAL Website in the next few days. So, please stay tuned.
Jazakum Allahu Khairun,

Update on Jumah Prayers
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahu Wa Barakatuhu.
We are reaching out to update you about two important changes we are introducing in our Jumah (and other congregational prayer) policies and procedures.
Please kindly note that, as of this Friday, August 13th:
Children of 8 years of age and older will be welcome to attend Jumah and other congregational prayers at Masjid Al Noor. Parents will be responsible for supervising their children and making sure that they comply with all public health guidelines within MANAL premises.
Admission to our Jumah prayers will be on a "first come first served basis" and will NO LONGER require online or door registration. Accordingly, if you are healthy without any COVID symptoms and are not ordered to self isolate, please come to the mosque at least 15 minutes before the start time of the first or the second Jumah prayer. When the mosque capacity is full for the first session, the doors will be locked by MANAL volunteers and you will be required to wait outside to be admitted to the next one. We request you to please follow the instructions of our volunteers for a timely and smooth admission process.
In order to minimize public health risks, we are not yet changing our other rules and policies, including mandatory mask wearing in MANAL premises. So, when coming to the mosque, please remember to:
have wudu at home
bring your own prayer mat
wear your face mask before entering the mosque
enter the mosque by the main door
put your shoes in a plastic bag and sanitize your hands before proceeding to the prayer halls
keep physical distancing at all times
pray only at designated spots
exit by the back door
We thank you for helping us to keep our mosque and community safe and look forward to sharing more updates in the near future.
Jazakumullahu Khairan,
MANAL Executive Commitee

Ramadan and Taraweeh Planning
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahu Wa Barakatuhu.
We pray that you and your families are all doing well and being safe during these challenging times.
Alhamdulillah, we are about to experience the Holy Month of Ramadan. We pray to Allah (swt) to help us all to build a strong taqwa during this holy month and to be able to sustain it for the rest of our lives.
Please kindly note the following updates about MANAL's ongoing Ramadan and Taraweeh planning:
Insha'Allah, the first day of Ramadan will be on Tuesday, April13th and the first Taraweeh will be on Monday, April 12th.
Ramadan timetable is attached herewith for your information. It will also be posted at MANAL website for your convenience.
Under Alert Level 2, we will insha'Allah have in person Isha + Taraweeh prayers at Masjid Al Noor. The maximum capacity will be 50 people in total (40 brothers + 10 sisters) and admission will be subject to daily online pre-registration.
Every morning, we will post a new registration link at MANAL website for those who want to pray Isha AND Taraweeh on that day.
Once you register for your day of choice, you will be required to arrive at the mosque shortly before Isha Iqama time and leave as soon as the Taraweeh is over.
Due to ongoing public health restrictions, it will not be allowed to consume or share any food and drink at mosque premises. You can only bring your own personal water bottle making sure that you do not share it with others and take it with you as you leave the mosque. It is extremely important that you don't leave any trash behind so that our volunteers can quickly clean and sanitize the mosque for the next day.
For those who cannot attend Isha and Taraweeh in person, there will be daily live streaming from MANAL website.
During Ramadan, we also plan to organize a series of online webinars with distinguished guest speakers. A detailed program will insha'Allah be shared soon.
We wish you and your families Ramadan Kareem. Please stay tuned and check MANAL website for updates.
Jazakumullahu Khairan,
MANAL Executive Committee
