Important Update - Qiyam-ul Layl

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Assalamu Alaikum. We are reaching out to share some good news with those of you who may be willing to perform Qiyam-ul Layl at the mosque during the last ten days of Ramadan and were probably saddened by our latest announcement. After carefully considering all possible options, we have came up with the following arrangement that would insha'Allah be the safest under the ongoing pandemic. During the last 10 days of Ramadan, Masjid Al Noor will be open for Qiyam-ul Lay for only 45 minutes before Fajr time. Accordingly, the first Qiyam ul Layl will begin at 3:00 AM and finish at 3:45 AM on Monday, May 3rd. For each subsequent day it will begin and finish 2 minutes earlier than the previous one. Any brother and sister who is older than 12 years, healthy and not required to self isolate, is welcome to attend. Please note that consuming / sharing food in mosque premises is strictly prohibited. So please have your sahoor at your home before coming to the mosque. You may only have your own water bottle with you as long as you do not share it with others. As per public health guidelines, you must also: have wudu at home bring your own prayer mat wear your face mask at all times keep physical distancing at all times sanitize your hands as you enter and exit the mosque write down your name and phone number in the door list as you enter the mosque For the safety of everyone, mosque door will be locked at the beginning of Qiyam-ul Layl. So please make every effort to arrive in time. If you are late, please wait outside until a volunteer is free to let you in. For the convenience of those who cannot join in person, Qiyam-ul Layl will be live streamed from MANAL website. Serving the House of Allah swt and our mosque congregants without compromising from public health safety is our top priority. We believe you will help us by fully complying with all the rules and cooperating with our volunteers. May Allah swt accept our fasting, prayers, douaas and deeds during this holy month and beyond.
