MANAL in the 21st Century
Currently, three congregational prayers are held in the Mosque daily: the Dawn prayer (Fajr), and the Evening prayers (Maghrib and Isha). A weekly congregation prayer is also held on Friday around 1:00 PM.
Special prayers are also observed during Ramadan (the month of fasting), on Eidul Fitr day (the celebration of the end of Ramadan), and on Eidul Adha day (the celebration of the end of the pilgrimage season). In addition, the Mosque houses the educational and social activities of the community. Classes to teach Arabic and religious studies are held for young people and adults on Sunday.
