MANAL in the 21st Century

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine.

Currently, three congregational prayers are held in the Mosque daily: the Dawn prayer (Fajr), and the Evening prayers (Maghrib and Isha). A weekly congregation prayer is also held on Friday around 1:00 PM. Special prayers are also observed during Ramadan (the month of fasting), on Eidul Fitr day (the celebration of the end of Ramadan), and on Eidul Adha day (the celebration of the end of the pilgrimage season). In addition, the Mosque houses the educational and social activities of the community. Classes to teach Arabic and religious studies are held for young people and adults on Sunday. Study groups for men and women are also conducted in the Mosque.
